Swedish Massage, In the Comfort of Your Own Home
Classic full-body massage, delivered by Jennifer, a qualified therapist — in your own space, on your own schedule. Women-only, fully mobile across Glasgow's south side.
What Is Swedish Massage?
Swedish massage is a full-body treatment using long, flowing strokes, kneading, and gentle stretching to release muscle tension and improve circulation. It's the foundation of modern massage therapy — ideal if you want deep relaxation without intense pressure, or if this is your first professional massage.

Why Clients Choose It (Benefits)
-
Eases physical tension — built up from desk work, travel, or long client hours
-
Calms the nervous system — slower strokes shift the body out of fight-or-flight
-
Improves circulation and sleep quality — many clients report better sleep the night of a session
-
No pressure to "push through" — pressure is adjusted entirely to your comfort, not a fixed protocol
Who This Is For
Swedish massage suits almost everyone — but it's especially valued by clients managing high-pressure jobs, frequent travel, or simply a schedule that leaves no time to sit in traffic for a spa appointment. If you've never had a professional massage before, this is the ideal starting point.
What happens during an at-home Swedish massage session?
Jennifer arrives with a professional portable massage table, fresh linens, and oils — everything needed to turn any quiet room into a treatment space. A quick check-in covers any problem areas or preferences, then your session runs uninterrupted for its full duration, followed by a few minutes to reorient before Jennifer packs down.
-
All equipment brought to you — table, linens, oils, music if you'd like it
-
Requires a clear space of roughly 2 by 2.5 metres or more
-
Allow extra time for your visit: set-up, a short consultation and pack-down add around 30 minutes, so allow about 90 minutes for a 60-minute treatment and about two hours for a 90-minute one
-
Fully insured, Level 1 disclosure from Disclosure Scotland, women-only therapist

Safety & Suitability
Swedish Massage is safe for most adults. It isn't recommended if you have a fever, contagious skin condition, recent injury or surgery, or certain circulatory conditions — if you're unsure, mention it when booking and Jennifer will advise. If you're currently pregnant, please book the dedicated Pregnancy Massage service instead, as technique and positioning differ.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to provide anything?
No — Jennifer brings the massage table, linens, and oils. You'll just need a warm, quiet room with enough space to set up, and access to a plug socket if music is requested.
Is it just for women?
Yes. An Suath is a women-only service — every client is a woman, and so is Jennifer, by design, so you can book with full peace of mind.
How much pressure is used?
Pressure is entirely adjustable. Swedish massage is typically lighter than deep tissue work, but Jennifer will check in and adapt to what feels right for you throughout the session.
How far in advance should I book?
At least 24 hours in advance. Bookings are confirmed instantly through the online calendar.
What areas do you cover?
Jennifer covers King's Park, Cathcart, Muirend, Netherlee, Williamwood, Cambuslang, Blantyre, and Rutherglen. See the Service Area page for full details.
