About this policy

Last updated: October 15th, 2026.

An Suath is a women-only mobile massage service run by Jennifer Brown, a sole trader based in Glasgow. This policy explains what personal information An Suath collects when you use this website, book a treatment or get in touch, why she needs it, and how she looks after it.

1. Who is responsible for your information

Jennifer Brown, trading as An Suath, is the "data controller" for your personal information. If you have any questions about this policy or your information, email info@ansuath.com. Jennifer is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under registration number ZA406158. The registration is in her own name, so it covers all her professional work, including An Suath. You can check it on the ICO public register at ico.org.uk.

2. What information An Suath collects

  • Contact and booking details: your name, email address, phone number and home address, the treatment, date and time you book, and any message you add.
  • Health information: the answers you give on the booking form (for example medical conditions, injuries, medication, allergies, how many weeks pregnant you are, or details of your birth), notes Jennifer Brown makes during the phone call before your visit and at the start of your treatment, and confirmation that you have written consent from your GP or midwife.
  • Payment information: payments are processed securely by Wix’s payment provider. Jennifer Brown sees confirmation that you have paid but never sees or stores your full card details.
  • Messages: anything you send through the contact form, by email or by phone.
  • Website information: Wix uses cookies and similar technology to run this website and, if you agree, to understand how visitors use it (see section 8).

Jennifer Brown only collects what she needs to book and provide your treatment safely.

How your information is used

3. Why Jennifer uses your information, and the legal basis

  • To take and manage your booking, contact you about it and provide your treatment (the contract between you and Jennifer).
  • To make sure your treatment is safe and suitable for you, using your health information (your explicit consent, which you give when you book).
  • To keep financial and insurance records (legal obligation, and Jennifer’s legitimate interests in running her business).
  • To reply to your enquiries (legitimate interests).

4. Who your information is shared with

Jennifer never sells your information. It is only shared with:

  • Wix.com, which hosts this website and runs the booking calendar, forms and payments;
  • the payment provider that processes your card payment;
  • her insurer, Holistic Insurance Services, only if needed for a claim;
  • anyone she is legally required to share it with.

Wix may store data on servers outside the UK. For these transfers Wix uses legally recognised safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses.

Keeping your information safe, and your rights

5. How long your information is kept

  • Client and health records: kept for the period required by Jennifer's professional insurer after your last treatment.
  • Financial records: six years, as required by HMRC.
  • Enquiries that don’t lead to a booking: up to 12 months.

After that, your information is securely deleted.

6. How your information is kept safe

Your information is kept in Jennifer’s password-protected Wix account and on her password-protected devices, and only Jennifer Brown has access to it.

7. Your rights

You can ask Jennifer Brown to:

  • give you a copy of the information she holds about you;
  • correct anything that is wrong;
  • delete your information, unless she must keep it by law;
  • restrict or object to how it is used;
  • give you your information in a format you can pass to someone else;
  • stop using your health information. You can withdraw your consent at any time, although Jennifer Brown may then be unable to provide your treatment.

To use any of these rights, email info@ansuath.com. Jennifer Brown will reply within one month. If you’re unhappy with how your information has been handled, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

8. Cookies

This website uses essential cookies so that the site and online booking work. Other cookies, such as analytics, are only used if you agree to them in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time in your browser settings.

9. Changes to this policy

Any updates will be posted on this page with a new “last updated” date. If you have any questions about this policy, email info@ansuath.com
